Legion of Boom
Drumline Auditions

Below you will find the practice materials and exercises that will be used for drumline auditions. These materials will be reviewed during the skills clinics listed below. While attendance at the clinics is not required, it is highly recommended as they will help prepare you for the audition.

Students must attend at least one of the audition days in order to be considered for the Legion of Boom Drumline. If needed, students may attend both audition days to improve or redo their audition.

Drumline Clinic & Audition Info

  • Location:

    • Campbell High School Band Room​

  • Clinic Dates:

    • March 24 & 31: 4pm to 6pm

    • ​April 14: 4pm to 6pm​

  • Auditions Dates:

    • April 21 & 22​

 

Please note that students will be assigned their instrument based on their skill level and the needs of the drumline. While students may indicate a primary and secondary equipment preference, placement on a specific instrument is not guaranteed. Final assignments will be determined by the instructional staff to ensure the strongest possible ensemble for the Legion of Boom Drumline.
